Our Story of Success
In the summer of 2019 partners Donna Fosco-Sobers, Kenneth Davis, and Sherlock Griffith formed
The new catering business is the result of the expansion and the diversification of the former, Tennyson Sobers Catering. After decades as a well known name in catering in the region (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York), Tennyson Sobers Catering has rebranded as DKS Catering. Tennyson Sobers or “ChefTenny”, having successfully recovered from a life-changing illness, will continue in his role as Executive Chef and Consultant for the catering service.
The team is positioned for continued growth as we seek to build on the existing foundation, experiences and outstanding professional reputation that clients in the corporate and public sectors have come to know and love from Tennyson “ChefTenny” Sobers Catering. A host of diverse clients ranging from colleges, universities, corporations, non-profit organizations and individuals consistently turn to us with confidence because they know that we will professionally prepare and serve delicious food and precious memories, every time they call!!
DKS Catering is a full service New Jersey Catering Company providing stress-free, professional catering and event planning services that extend to the Philadelphia metropolitan area and beyond. In addition to menu planning and serving delicious food, we are prepared to assist you with the stressful aspects of planning your event, including helping you find the right photographer and perfect entertainment.
Our extensive menu (click on button below) showcases American, Italian, Caribbean and Asian cuisines. Plus, our many local favorites are a delight! For example, select the “Philly Fest” theme package and your choices include Tastykakes, Philadelphia soft pretzels and of course Philly cheese steaks!
Always mindful of the needs of our clients, we offer kosher, vegetarian and gluten free menu selections. Our goal is to prepare fresh, delicious food and assistance with event and party planning. You can count on our courteous service whether you are hosting a private Superbowl party, Sunday Brunch, Corporate Employee Luncheon or a Formal Wedding or Special Anniversary for up to a few hundred people.
